Your pet is likely to be hysterical. Wrap it in a blanket or jacket. Have a companion hold the animal still. Carry a sturdy pliers, a 10″ hacksaw blade (you can wrap the bottom in tape for a handle), and a 12″ bolt cutter. Carry these items especially in winter months when traps are set for furbearers. If you cannot free the animal, maybe you can cut the trap loose from its line and carry it along with your animal to get help.Read More…
