NDOW Refused to Ban Wildlife Killing Contest

Yesterday, March 8th, 2024, the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners refused to ban coyote killing contests in Nevada for the 4th time in the past 9 years despite an excellent presentation of pertinent data, science and public attitude information presented by Rebecca Goff and Warren Hardy.Public polling of Nevadans a year ago showed that 66% opposed these so-called contests and only 19% approved.If you are unfamiliar with killing contests, further information, including photos, can be obtained here: https://nvwildlifealliance.orgWildlife Commissioners are not elected but appointed by the governor, so no public accountability is available.
